200 LAPS, 300 MILES

This Week's No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota at Kentucky Speedway:  J.J. Yeley will pilot Chassis No. 235 in the VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 at Kentucky Speedway. This will be the seventh time that Yeley has raced this chassis in the 2015 season.  He raced it last weekend at Chicagoland Speedway where he posted a 19th-place finish.

Yeley at Kentucky:
J.J. will be making his ninth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Kentucky Speedway to go along with three previous starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series as well as two in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.  He also has a start in the Indy Car Series at the 1.5-mile track in Sparta, Kentucky.

Yeley has two XFINITY Series top-10 finishes at Kentucky Speedway with a best finish of second back in the 2006 season.

Earlier this year, Yeley and his No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota finished 18th after starting from the pole at Kentucky Speedway.

Horsepower Change:
Yeley and his JGL Racing team roll into Kentucky with the recently new addition of Joe Gibbs Racing Engines to their No. 28 Toyota.   In their continued effort to become a top team in the sport, JGL Racing will campaign the JGR horsepower for the remainder of the 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series season.

J.J.'s Thoughts on Kentucky:
"Kentucky is a challenging yet fun race track.  It is fast and the bumps add a great amount of character.  Also the two ends of the track are really different.  So it is important to get your car handling well so you can get over the bumps and through both ends of the track to keep your momentum."

"We had good speed at Kentucky earlier this year but we couldn't carry that over into the race.  We battled a little bit of the same issue last week in Chicago but for different reasons.  The change to the JGR Engines has been a huge benefit for this JGL Racing team and we are working hard on fine tuning our set up changes needed to fully utilize that extra horsepower.  I am confident we will make progress this week and look forward to a great run on Saturday night."

However, as the second half of the race progressed and the sun went down - Yeley once again began to struggle with the handling of his No. 28 Toyota.  While the JGLRacing crew had a few more attempts at adjustments nothing seemed to provide much improvement.  The last segment of the race would find Yeley holding on for his 19th top-20 finish of the 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series season.

"While we have struggled here the last two races, I am confident in what the guys on this JGL Racing team will find out," added Yeley.

"With some key changes in our program such as the new engine package, it has presented us with something different to work with.  We will figure it out and look forward to getting back on track next week in Kentucky."

With the 19th-place finish Yeley fell one spot to 13th in the overall NASCAR XFINITY Series drivers' standings - 94 points out of the Top-10.

Yeley and his JGL Racing team will next set their sights onto Kentucky Speedway this coming weekend.  The running of the VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 will be Saturday September 26th and can be seen LIVE on NBC Sports Network at 8:00 pm ET.  It can also be heard on Performance Racing Network (PRN) and Sirius Channel 90.
