JJ Yeley and JGL Racing Team Earn
Hard Fought Top-20 Finish in Atlanta

HAMPTON, GA.  (March 1, 2015) - NASCAR veteran racer JJ Yeley and his second year NASCAR XFINITY Series team, JGL Racing, showed determination and perseverance as they earned a hard fought top-20 finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway.  Yeley piloted his No. 28 Texas 28 Spirits Stage Toyota to a 19th place finish in the running of the Hisense 250 at the 1.5-mile Georgia speed plant.

"The guys on this JGL Racing team and Steve Plattenburger (crew chief) did a great job this week," stated Yeley.  "We were just a little tight through the center most of the day.  We made some adjustments and it was getting better but we just needed another adjustment or so to get to where we needed to be.  I gave it all I had to get more out of the car but settled for a hard fought top-20 finish.  We came out with a clean car and a solid finish which gives us some momentum as we head out West."

Yeley started the 163-lap event from the 15th position as a result of his qualifying effort earlier in the day.  He would battle that tight through the center of the corners situation from the drop of the green flag and fought hard throughout the 250-miles to take care of his No. 28 Toyota.

The 19th-place finish would move Yeley to 16th in the XFINITY Series drivers' standings - 11 points outside the top-10.

"I am proud of the hard work and determination shown today by JJ and this JGL Racing team," stated team owner James Whitener.  "We have worked hard over the winter to grow and improve our team and I am pleased to see the effort.  While we had some higher hopes for a better finish today we can never complain of coming home with a clean race car and a top-20 finish."

Yeley and his JGL Racing team will head out West next as the NASCAR XFINITY Series visits the desert and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  The running of the Boyd Gaming 300 will be Saturday March 7, 2015 at another 1.5-mile track.  The race can be seen LIVE on Fox Sports 1 at 3:30 p.m. ET and heard on Performance Racing Network (PRN) and Sirius Channel 90.
