Ted Musgrave No. 59 Team ASE/Harris Trucking Toyota Tundra American Commercial Lines 200

Ted Musgrave on Atlanta Motor Speedway:
“Atlanta Motor Speedway is a great track.  It always produces fast, exciting truck races every time we race there.  Atlanta is also one of the tracks we tested which gives us the opportunity to come to practice with a good set-up.  Coming in to Atlanta we are sitting 14th in points.  We want to have a great run in the Team ASE/Harris Trucking Tundra and continue getting top-tens and top-fives on a weekly basis to give our team a shot at winning the championship in Homestead.”

Ted Musgrave on Racing at Atlanta:
“We had a great run at Auto Club Speedway a few weeks ago with a sixth place finish and we are looking forward to running at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend.  The two tracks have similar set-ups, so we can take what we learned in California plus what we worked on during the pre-season test sessions and apply it to Atlanta.  The race tracks are touchy, but I think the HT guys have a good handle on what we need to do to have the No. 59 Team ASE/Harris Trucking Toyota Tundra running upfront.”

Ted Musgrave California Recap:
After inclement forced all on-track activities to be cancelled, including  the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series was lined up by 2007 owner points setting Musgrave up to start 17th.  When the green flag dropped, Musgrave wasted no time getting the No. 59 Team ASE/Harris Trucking Toyota Tundra to the front of the field where he would stay for the remainder of the race.  Running in the top-ten, Musgrave was one of the fastest trucks on track when the race came to a close, bringing home a sixth-place finish for Virginia-based HT Motorsports.  The finish compliments Musgrave’s already impressive history at Fontana, giving him an average finish of 3.0 in eight Truck Series starts at the 2.0-mile track.

HT Motorsports to Sport Additional Partner at AMS:
The Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center in Peachtree City, Georgia has signed as “The Official Hotel of HT Motorsports” this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway and their logo will be displayed on the No. 59 Team ASE/Harris Trucking Toyota Tundra.  Sheltered from the big-city hassles of Atlanta hotels, the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center is the perfect destination.  Enveloped by 19 wooded acres, the $8.5 million newly-renovated Atlanta conference center is an idyllic place to relax, or enjoy a spectrum of entertainment options including whitewater rafting, virtual auto racing and the High Art Museum.  For reservations, call (877) 999-3223.

Ted Musgrave’s NASCAR Stats at Atlanta Motor Speedway:
Set to make his 28th career NASCAR start at AMS this weekend in the American Commercial Lines 200, Musgrave hopes that his eighth Craftsman Truck Series start will be the one that gets him to victory lane.  Musgrave competed in 20 events in the then Winston Cup Series with his best finish of eighth coming in 1993 after starting from the fourth position.  In 2004, Musgrave made his first Truck Series start at Atlanta finishing eighth.  Musgrave has one top-five and five top-tens, with an average finish of 10.4 in the NCTS at AMS.  This will be Musgrave’s fifth consecutive event at AMS with Team ASE as primary sponsor.
